By installing or using Halcyon – Daily Reflections for Better Wellbeing, you agree to these Terms:

1. License. Halcyon is licensed, not sold. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use only.
2. User Conduct. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, distribute, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
3. Intellectual Property. All design, code, and content are the intellectual property of the developers.
4. No Warranty. The app is provided “AS IS,” without warranties of any kind.
5. Limitation of Liability. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app.
6. Termination. We may terminate or restrict your access to the app if you violate these terms.
7. Updates. App features may be updated, changed, or removed without prior notice.
8. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction.

This Privacy Policy describes how we protect your privacy when you use our Mood tracking application (the "App").

1. No Data Collection
   • We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information. This includes but is not limited to:
   – Personal identifiers such as name, email address, or phone number
   – Device information or unique identifiers
   – Usage statistics or analytics data

2. Local Data Storage Only
   • All your mood data and app settings are stored exclusively on your device:
   – All mood entries are saved locally on your device’s storage
   – We do not use any cloud-based or remote servers to store your information
   – Your data is never transmitted over the internet

3. Data Security
   • Since all your data remains on your device, security is managed through your device’s built-in protection mechanisms. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured with a passcode, PIN, or biometric authentication to protect access to the app.

4. No Third-Party Sharing
   • Because we don’t collect any data, we don’t share any data with third parties. There are no advertisers, analytics providers, or other external services with access to your information.

5. Your Data Control
   • You have complete control over your data:
   – You can delete any or all mood entries directly within the app
   – Uninstalling the app will remove all associated data from your device
   – No backup copies of your data exist on any server

6. No Notifications or Communications
   • Any notifications or reminders generated by the app are created and managed locally on your device. We have no means to send you messages or communications from our servers.

7. App Permissions
   • Our app may request certain device permissions to enable specific features, but these are exclusively used within the app and no data is transmitted externally.

8. Children’s Privacy
   • As we do not collect any personal information from any users, including children, there are no special provisions for children’s data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
   • We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the bottom of this policy.
